Period Dignity Week 2026
Announcement
Period Dignity Week 2026 will take place from Monday 16 to Friday 20 February, with activities running between 9am–12pm and 1pm–4pm each day.
In 2025, the initiative successfully reached over 1,000 local residents, providing free period products and raising awareness of more than 100 community locations where products can be accessed. Further information on supported community events is available through North Lanarkshire Council.
For 2026, the programme aims to continue strengthening community engagement and increasing visibility in local spaces to ensure residents know where free period products are available and feel confident accessing them.
During the week, the focus will be to:
- Increase community-based awareness and engagement
- Promote free period product locations across North Lanarkshire
Please see timetable below for when the stalls would be set up at community locations across different localities. More details on the week is available via Facebook and here.
If you have any questions or enquiries, please contact Community Matters.
