Nobody should spend Christmas alone. On Christmas day, we’re opening the doors of Gartcairn MTC Park in Motherwell Street, Airdrie  to welcome older and socially isolated members of our community for an afternoon filled with festive cheer, enjoy a warm Christmas lunch, fun activities, and plenty of companionship. 

That’s why we’re proud to be part of the @SPFLTrust’s Festive Friends programme this year. Alongside hosting our festive event, the week leading up to Christmas day, we’ll also deliver hampers packed with food, gifts, and games to older and socially isolated people—bringing joy to those who need it most. 

We’re also looking for volunteers to help on the day, as well as donations of presents, food items, cash, and—most importantly—referrals for anyone who would benefit from this initiative. 

As part of this programme, every attendee and hamper recipient will also receive a carbon monoxide alarm, courtesy of SGN (Scottish Gas Networks).
