Airdrie Foodbank - Important Update on Referrals

Please note that week beginnning 12 December 2022 the Trussell Trust have advised Airdrie CAB that individuals can access assistance from Airdrie Food bank on a maximum of five occassions.

If you are contacting Airdrie Citizens Advice Bureau in order to be referred to the food bank at St Edwards Church on a Wednesday morning, or the Baptist Church on a Friday morning, the Trussell Trust (Airdrie Food Bank) have directed that individuals obtain a referral (at the very latest) the day before the food bank opens. This is to assist with the organisational procedures of the food bank and is beyond the control of the bureau. 

We therefore, strongly advise, that individuals contact the bureau by 12noon the day before the food bank opens.  Our telephone lines can be very busy.  Please, therefore, try to contact us as early in the week as possible on (01236) 754109.
